Anne Peterson

Anne Peterson is an experienced writer, producer, on-air personality and media professional.  As a 25-year veteran of broadcast news, she has been honored with several industry awards including three Emmy nominations.  She and her long time co-anchor (Wendall Anschutz) also held the honor of being the longest running anchor team in the country.

She is now the president of Anne Peterson Productions and has worked with several local, national, and international clients both “behind the scenes” and in front of a camera or audience.  She is a model and spokesperson for Voices & Talent Agency. Anne is a guest host on KCPT and hosts the Kansas City Legacies series on Time Warner.  She was the co-writer and producer for “The Best for Baby” video, a series of instructional DVD’s with a distribution totaling more than 4 million copies.  Using her 35 years of experience as a television medical reporter, Anne has worked nationally with several medical organizations to produce marketing videos including the “Continuous Chest Compression CPR” program at the University of Arizona Sarver Heart Center and NBC Action News, St. Luke’s Hospital’s Cardiovascular Consultants, Durrie Vision, and Medical Imaging.  She is the U.S. marketing representative for Swedish Saxophonist Johan Stengård www.stengard.com and was the concert producer and spokesperson for “Human Reflection: The Photo Symphony” www.humanreflection.org.  Anne is also an independent consultant for Arbonne International.

Throughout Anne’s career, it has always been important for her to reach out into the community and make a difference. Her efforts have helped the Leukemia Society, American Red Cross, American Heart Association, Children’s Miracle Networks, Gift of Life Foundation, and more. She currently serves as the President of “Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts Ambassador’s Program” and is President of the Shadow Buddies Foundation.
